Keychain
The rim round a keychain hole carries the keys. Too thin and it snaps off.
Pick a blank and type the word. Nothing has been drilled yet.
The ring hole is set in by a hole width, or half again the thickness.
The words take whatever room the ring left, fitted line by line.
