Divide at overlaps
Cuts crossing shapes apart into separate pieces, which is how an inlay is made: each piece is cut from a different material and they drop back together.
1
Select the shapes that cross each other. The order does not matter here.
2
Every place they overlap becomes a piece of its own.
3
Three shapes now, not two. Each one can go on its own layer or its own material.
What it is
Cuts the selected shapes apart wherever they cross, so every piece can be moved, coloured or cut on its own. Two overlapping circles become three.
