Setting up the cameraLesson 2 of 8
Calibrate from one dot
One engraved dot is enough: the machine moves the head, watches how the dot travels through the picture, and works out the lens and the line-up by itself.
1
Put the material you normally cut on the bed and engrave one small dot.
2
Press Start to engrave it. When the job ends, the machine takes over by itself.
3
Hands off: the machine finds its own dot, then walks it into every corner of the picture.
4
Four stops stay secret from the fit. The worst miss at them is the accuracy you are shown.
5
Want height and lean too? Set the dot on a block whose thickness you know and run the raise pass.
