Getting startedLesson 10 of 11
Line up a printed sheet by hand
A printed sheet never lands square, and the cut has to follow the print rather than the bed. Touching the head to each printed mark teaches the software where the sheet really is.
The steps
- Drop the sheet on the bed. It does not need to be straight.
- Jog the head until the red dot sits on the first printed mark, then press Set from head.
- Do the same for the rest. After two marks the software drives close to the next one for you.
- Check the reported error, then apply and cut.
One real job
A sheet of printed labels dropped on the bed slightly crooked. You jog the head onto each of the four corner marks and the cut follows the print.
