Getting startedLesson 11 of 11

Line up a printed sheet with the camera

The camera does the same job as your eye on each mark, without jogging the head there by hand. It is faster, and on a long run it is the difference between a minute a sheet and ten seconds.

The steps

  1. Calibrate the camera once, so it knows where it is looking.
  2. Drop the printed sheet on the bed and press Scan.
  3. The camera finds the first mark, then uses it to predict where the next one is.
  4. It checks the fit against a mark it did not use, and tells you before anything cuts.

One real job

Fifty printed sheets to cut. With the camera you drop each one on the bed, press Scan, and it finds the marks itself.
