Making things that fit togetherLesson 11 of 16

Stacking bin

A row of parts bins is only worth having if you can reach into one without lifting it down, and only safe if a knock does not put the stack on the floor. This cuts both of those in.

1

Type the outside size. The front wall gets a scoop wide enough for a hand, with its corners sloped so the panel is not left hanging on two square notches.

2

The sides carry tabs on the top edge and notches on the bottom, cut from the same comb, so one bin drops onto the next and stays where it lands.

3

Four walls and a floor per bin. Cut one set for each bin you want.
