Set up the machine profile
The software needs your bed size, head count and origin corner so parts land in the right place and framing stays inside the bed.
The steps
- In Set up a machine, let it read the bed size from the controller, or type it in.
- Set how many heads the machine has.
- Pick the origin corner, the corner where 0,0 sits.
- Name the machine and save. The profile is stored for next time.
One real job
A 1300 by 900 single-head machine reads its bed straight from the controller. You pick the rear-right origin, name it Shop laser 1, and it is ready to use.
