Measure the gap between heads
Two heads cut the same job one gap apart, and every two-head job needs that gap to the tenth of a millimetre. One cross and the camera measure it, with no callipers and no test cuts.

Put one small cross on the canvas. Both heads will cut it.

Press Start. Two crosses land on the bed, one from each head.

The camera measures the first cross, then walks sideways until it finds the second.

The distance between the two burns is the head gap, saved for every two-head job.
